Because our “bread & butter” are flowers we should start out with commenting on the most famous flower show of all, The Chelsea Flower Show.

This week they selected their plants of the year.

Their overall winner is Streptocarpus ‘Harlequin Blue’ the common name is Cape Primrose.

We love it, but our real favorite came in Third Place.

We can’t help it, we love the simplicity of the orchid. It would have been first place if anyone had bothered to pay our way to London to judge.
